Lindsay Lohan may have channeled her inner Marilyn Monroe on Playboy, but her Monroe-inspired sketch on Saturday Night Live was cut right before she took the stage March 3.
The UKs Daily Mail reported Lohan was set to perform a political themed Monroe sketch and had even been rehearsing it up to the day of her gig.
According to TMZ, the skit featured Lohan as Monroe and Jon Hamm as U.S. President John F. Kennedy, who had been rumored to be having an affair with the blond bombshell.
The two were speaking to GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum, played by Andy Samberg, who recently said that JFKs 1960 speech about the separation of religion and politics made him want to throw up.
In the sketch, Monroe and JFK told Santorum that she had been on birth control provided by Medicare, which makes Santorum vomit.
The sketch was eventually thrown onto the chopping block because of time constraints.
Although Lohans episode was deemed as one of the worst in SNL history by critics, it helped the show land the number one ratings slot that night.
Would you have wanted to watch Lindsay as Marilyn Monroe? And what sketch do you think it shouldve replaced?
