Lindsay LohanThe Next Marilyn Monroe? Evidence Here.

(Bauer Griffin) Lindsay Lohan appears in front of an LA court on January 30, 2013.It seems Lindsay Lohan can't keep away from the courts. No, we're not talking about her recent appearance before an LA courtroom on January 30. This time the star is set to file a $1.1 million lawsuit against a clothing manufacturer that sold leggings designed by Lohan, according to TMZ.

The manuafacturer, 6126 Collection, apparently collaborated with Lohan and sold leggings she designed. Lohan says she owns the 6126 trademark, which just happens to be the birthdate of Lohan's favorite old-time Hollywood star, Marilyn Monroe, who was born on June 1, 1926.

This got us wondering: is Lindsay Lohan trying to be the next Marilyn Monroe?

Let's take a look at some of Lindsay's most Marilyn-inspired looks:

And of course, they both know that diamonds are a girl's best friend.

Not to mention Lohan did a whole photo shoot forNew York magazine where she posed like Marilyn in her classic "The Last Sitting" photos. Lohan even shared in the interview that she had a painting of Monroe. "If you saw my house...I have a lot of Marilyn stuff," she says.

And like Monroe, Lohan is no stranger to tabloid stories. In theNew Yorkmag interview, Lohan spoke out about Monroe's public image. "She's saying, 'Look, you've taken a lot from me, so why don't I give it to you myself.' She's taking control back," Lohan says.

Looks like Lohan is taking over the role from Monroe as Hollywood's troubled "It" girl. Style and all.
