Lady Gaga has worn a dress made out of meat, appeared at an awards show as an embryo, and worn just about every crazy ensemble you could imagine. This week, the star took a look towards vintage Hollywood when she channeled the celebrity icon Marilyn Monroe will out and about in New York City.

For her big day out, Gaga had her ultra-blonde locks coiffed into the iconic pin curls that screamed Monroe. To finish off the look, the "Born This Way" singer pulled out a pair of fifties inspired cat eye sunglasses and bright red lipstick. Even though her look said vintage icon, her outfit was purely Gaga consisting of a black bra peaking out from under a black blazer. It was the perfect Gaga does Marilyn moment!

Lindsay Lohan: The troubled young star turned to the vintage icon to help her get in the spirit of Playboy for her recent cover shoot. This was the second time that the actress did her version of the "Gentlemen Prefer Blonds" actress after posing as Monroe on the cover of New York in 2008.

Michelle Williams: The Oscar nominee has a good reason for doing her own impersonation of Marilyn Monroe. She was playing the iconic actress in the new film, "My Week with Marilyn". Her performance was spot on that she has already started snagging awards nominations for her portrayal of the troubled star.

Naomi Watts: The mom-of-two will be doing her own portrayal of the screen legend in the movie adaption of the Joyce Carol Oates book Blonde which is scheduled to be released in 2012.
