New Song: Nicki Minaj, 'Marilyn Monroe'

Not that we're mad at it one bit, butNicki Minaj is alllll up in our grill right now. Yesterday, she dominated the JumboTron withMadonna andM.I.A. at theSuper Bowl halftime show, and today we're bringing you "Marilyn Monroe," a possible leak from her forthcoming albumPink Friday: Roman Reloaded. While the song itself has the potential to be a hit, the actual recording is decidedly less polished than most Minaj tracks, so many believe the tune is still in demo form. It might even be a track that never made it on to the original Pink Friday, but regardless, it's new Nicki!

Unlike Nicki's much more provocative "Stupid Hoe,""Marilyn" is a heartfelt ballad that both shows a softer side of the rapper as well as her impressive vocal skills: "I can be selfish/Yet so impatient/Sometimes I feel like Marilyn Monroe/Im insecure, yeah/I make mistakes sometimes/Feel like Im at the end of the r! oad.../I s this how Marilyn Monroe felt?/Must be how Marilyn Monroe felt."

I'm not trying to take anything away from "Marilyn Monroe" or anything (rappers are allowed to feel sad, too!) but if I may, Nicki, I'd advise you to look the eff around! You're famous, hot, and can have any man you want -- it's probably about time to be thrilled!
